Dog training rooted in empathy, understanding and modern behavioral science.
About me
My name is Sherin Babaei and I am a graduate of the prestigious Victoria Stilwell Academy, in person track (VSA-CDT). My passion for dog training began when I brought home my first canine daughter, Elizabeth. From the moment I saw her, I knew that I wanted to be the absolute best dog mom for her and ensure that she had the best life with all her needs met. That led me on a quest to learn all that I could about how dogs think, what they need from us, what motivates them and how they experience the world around them. Early on I was drawn to the books and videos of Victoria Stilwell and her message of positive dog training as a way to live harmoniously with our four legged family members. As I employed the positive training techniques and really sought to understand the world through Elizabeth’s eyes, I found my connection and bond with her strengthening by the day. I got into dog training because I want every dog parent to experience this type of connection and bond with their dog. This is my ‘why’ and what motivates me as dog trainer – fostering mutual understanding and connection between dogs and humans allowing all of us to live our best lives.
Training methodology
My approach to teaching is rooted in empathy and understanding. I seek to understand the ‘why’ behind a behavior, recognizing that every animal is an individual with unique needs and a unique learning style. I employ the latest in modern behavioral science methods, teaching dogs using powerful force-free, positive reinforcement-based tools and techniques. My ultimate goal is for your dog to understand what you want it to do and to help you understand what your dog needs from you in order to be successful.
“I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me, they are the role model for being alive.”
